AwaCut is a desktop application for macOS, Windows and Linux that removes image backgrounds locally on your machine, with the AI model embedded in the app. No account, no uploads, no per-image credits.

• AwaCut is sold as an annual subscription of $29/year via Polar's hosted checkout.
• After purchase you receive a licence key by email.
• One licence can be activated on up to 2 devices at the same time. You can deactivate a device to free an activation slot.
• The licence covers all three platforms.

If you cancel or the subscription expires, the installed app keeps working with the version you have. Your licence remains valid for the versions released while your subscription was active. You stop receiving updates and new versions. Renewing the subscription re-enables updates.

You may not:

• share, publish, sell or sublicense your licence key;
• circumvent or attempt to circumvent licence activation;
• decompile or modify the app, except where permitted by mandatory law;
• use the app to produce content that is unlawful.

We may deactivate keys involved in fraud or abuse.

The app, its design and branding are the property of AYA MIM S.R.L. or its licensors. AwaCut ships with open-source components, including the BiRefNet model, ONNX Runtime and Tauri, used under their respective licences (MIT and similar); the corresponding notices are included with the app. The images you process remain entirely yours. We claim no rights over them.

AwaCut is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Automated background removal is not perfect for every image. Review results before use. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or lost profits. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

Refunds are described in the Refund Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes are subject to the competent Romanian courts. If you are an EU consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms as the product evolves; the current version is always on this page, and the date above reflects the latest revision. Questions: [email protected].
