Three things that decide how a design looks on the finished product.
Start from your largest file
Cut the master, not the preview. A 1,000 pixel mockup will not become a 4,500 pixel print file.
Check the edge before you upload
Drag the before/after slider across the edge before you send anything to print. The mockup forgives, the product does not.
One folder per collection
Keep one folder per collection, so a seasonal refresh is one drop and one export.

A print-on-demand shop runs on volume: new designs, new colours, seasonal refreshes. Many web tools charge per image or in credits. AwaCut is a flat licence: a 500-design catalog costs the same $29 a year as one design, and the cutouts come back at print size.

Are the PNGs sharp enough for printing?
AwaCut exports at the original size, so a 4,500 pixel design stays a 4,500 pixel design, and nothing is downscaled. How sharp the print is then depends on the file you start from.
Which print-on-demand platforms accept the files?
Any platform that takes PNG uploads: Printful, Printify, Merch by Amazon, Redbubble, TeePublic, Gelato, and Etsy shops that print through them. The exports are standard PNGs with a real alpha channel, nothing proprietary.
Can I cut out AI-generated designs too?
Yes. Generated images rarely come with real transparency, and AwaCut fixes exactly that. Save your generations as PNG or JPG, drop the folder in, and every design comes out on a true transparent background.
Can I make DTF and sublimation PNGs with it?
Yes. DTF transfers are usually printed from a PNG with a transparent background, and that is what Alpha exports, at the original resolution. The same files work for sublimation.
Can I sell products made with the cutouts?
Yes. Exports are yours to use commercially, with no watermark, the 10 trial photos included. The rights to the design itself still need to be yours.
How long does a whole collection take?
About 4 seconds per 12 MP photo on a Mac Studio (M4 Max), so 500 take about 32 minutes there. Start the folder and keep working. The price stays $29 a year however many you run.
Can I also make white background photos for listings?
Yes. Pick White and JPG for the listing photos: pure white, RGB 255, the background Amazon asks for on a main image. Then pick PNG, and only then Alpha: AwaCut saves the finished designs again as print files, and the white JPGs stay in the folder.
Does it work on Mac, Windows and Linux?
Yes. AwaCut runs on macOS 13.4 or later (Apple silicon), Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and Linux (AppImage, x86-64), and one licence covers 2 computers. Background removal runs on your computer, so it works offline too.
Can I cancel?
Yes. The licence renews once a year, and you can cancel any time in the Polar customer portal. If you stop renewing, the app keeps working; only updates stop. Within 14 days of the purchase you also get a full refund, no reason needed.
