AwaCut purchases are processed by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record. Polar takes the payment and issues refunds. This page explains when and how you can get a refund.
14-day right of withdrawal (EU)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund.
How to request a refund
Two ways, whichever you prefer:
- Email [email protected] from the address used at purchase, including your order reference; or
- use the Polar customer portal (linked in your purchase email) to manage the order.
Refunds are issued by Polar to the original payment method.
After a refund
When a purchase is refunded, the associated licence key is deactivated and the app returns to its unactivated state.
Subscription renewals
The subscription renews yearly. You can cancel at any time via the Polar customer portal. The licence stays valid until the end of the paid period, and the installed app keeps working even after that (see the Terms of Service).
