What you need
A 64-bit PC with Windows 10 or Windows 11.
Windows may still show a "Windows protected your PC" prompt the first few weeks while the new signature builds its reputation. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Install it
- 1Download the .exe installer.
- 2Run it. The installer is signed by AYA MIM S.R.L.
- 3Start AwaCut from the Start menu.
How it runs on your computer
The AI model ships inside the app and runs on the processor, so no graphics card is needed and no photo is uploaded. On a recent Apple silicon Mac it takes about 3 seconds per image; older or slower computers take longer. The licence covers 2 computers in any mix of macOS, Windows and Linux.

Does AwaCut need a graphics card?
No. Background removal runs on the processor. A faster processor finishes a folder sooner, but any 64-bit computer that meets the requirements works.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Processing and exporting work offline. The licence is activated online once and rechecked about every 30 days, with a two-week grace period when you are offline.
Can I use one licence on Windows and on another system?
Yes. One licence activates on 2 computers, in any mix of macOS, Windows and Linux.
