Etsy banner size: big and mini shop banners
Etsy's help asks for a big banner of at least 1200 × 300 px and recommends 1600 × 400; its Seller Handbook says 3360 × 840 for the sharpest result, the same 4:1 shape. A mini banner is at least 1200 × 160, 1600 × 213 recommended. No animated GIF or transparent PNG. Keep the words in the middle so they stay legible on phones. Etsy does not support it for banners. Put the cutouts on a colour first.
Words at the sides
They can be cut on phones. Keep them centred.
