AwaCut for home and decor photos

Home and decor cutouts, from fine leaves to wicker weave

Decor is where cutouts get structurally hard: a plant is a hundred edges, wicker is a mesh with holes, raw wood has fuzzy grain. AwaCut's full-resolution segmentation keeps leaves separated and weave holes open, and it does that across the entire catalog folder in one run.

Furniture and decor listings also carry the largest files: big products get photographed big. Because AwaCut never downscales before segmenting and exports at original resolution, a 6000-pixel armchair stays a 6000-pixel armchair, which matters when marketplaces zoom.

  1. Drop the folder in

Drag the whole folder into AwaCut. Hundreds of images queue at once, about 5 seconds each, all processed on your computer, offline.

  2. Pick one background for the whole batch

Alpha for transparent PNGs, or white, beige, gray and studio looks. One setting applies to every image, so the whole batch comes out consistent.

  3. Verify, export, done

Check any cutout with the before/after slider, then export the folder as PNG, WEBP or JPG, at the original resolution.

What matters for these photos

  • For plants, shoot against a plain wall: overlapping leaf edges against clutter is the hardest case for any model.

  • Check weave holes and chair-leg gaps with the slider: open gaps are the sign of a real cutout.

  • Batch by room or category so each export lands on the same background and the category page looks curated.

Can it handle plants with many small leaves?

Yes: fine, many-edged subjects are what the full-size BiRefNet model is strongest at, and AwaCut runs it at full resolution rather than a downscaled copy. Test your densest plant on the free trial and zoom the slider on the leaf tips.

Does it keep gaps open, like between chair legs or in wicker?

Yes: real segmentation cuts the background out of enclosed gaps rather than filling them. Verify on a woven piece with the before/after slider; open holes with checkerboard showing through are the proof.

Can I redo a whole furniture catalog on a neutral background?

Yes: drop the catalog folder, pick White, Beige, Gray or Studio once, and every product re-exports consistently, offline, with no per-image cost.
